Mediastinitis After Oesophagoscopy: A Case Report
Abstract
A 50 years old male presented with signs and symptoms of oesophageal perforation after a biopsy. Suggestive symptoms and signs are pain in neck radiating to the back; a rise in temperature and pulse, emphysema in neck and widening of mediastinum or pneumothorax in chest X-ray. He survived with medical management.
