Abstract

Airway surgery is a teamwork activity that requires close cooperation and trust between the anaesthetist and the surgeon. In the past, the role of one professional would determine to a large extent the outcome. In the new era, however, the successes in medicine are as a result of an organised multidisciplinary team.1
